Vintage Polara Transit Compass Level Surveying Scope in Case C L Berger Sons Boston MA

12 1/2" length including hinges

8 1/8" width

Vintage, used condition, surface wear throughout case, case has scratching throughout and is missing the top hook closure on the front as well as some of the leather strap, some residue throughout case. There appears to be some damage to a lens, which is visible only when one adjustment is adjusted a certain way. When adjusted certain ways things look clear, and they look cloudy depending how it's adjusted, so lens may need some cleaning and replacement. This may not be complete as manufactured, so please see photos and ask questions bc admittedly these are not my wheelhouse. See photos.
