Antique, used condition, surface wear throughout such as dings and scratches (some deep scratching front left), refinished surface, some losses such as to molding on front of lid to left, some repair such as at back center of lid, some splitting such as to back and back left foot. Modern hinges have been added which hold the lid upright when open.  No key.  See photos.
