A 2 gallon cobalt floral / plume decorated stoneware jug by Haxstun & Co., Fort Edward, New York, circa 1874-1882.  It measures 14.25" tall and the bottom is about 8.75" in diameter.  Some teal paint residue and some flaking left of the maker's stamp, with a tiny tight hairline about 1.25" in length in that same area.  A faint tight horizontal hairline near the bottom measuring about 3" in length.  A chip on the spout measuring about 3/8" wide is under the glaze.
