Complete set of Civil War Era Lynchburg fractional currency

A complete set of Lynchburg fractional currency dated May 1, 1862, along with The Lynchburg Virginian newspaper dated November 5, 1861 (including an article about President Davis’s proclamation and prayer for the South), all professionally framed and matted with portrait lamp and conservation glass. During the Cicivl War, the smallest note that the Confederacy made was one dollar, and the South could not afford to make coins, so localities were given permission to issue their own fractional paper money.  It measures approximately 28-3/8" tall by 34-3/8" wide framed.
